Internet

Your Internet connection is also vital for how good the service will work for you.

Even though we don't have any restrictions on how many connection you can have within your home network, we do not recommend more than three at the same time.

Calculate around 25 Mbps per simultaneous usage, so you need around 75Mbps reliable broadband for 3 connections at the same time.

Network Hardware

So your paying for a good broadband, but that might not be enough.

There is something called Bufferbloat, that's when YOUR Network equipment like router, switches, wireless access points etc is to slow and cant handle the traffic.

To test if your equipment is good enough, you can run the Bufferbloat test from Waveform in a web browser on the equipment your using our services, this will test the whole link under traffic pressure.

Grade A+/A is recommended, Grade B and C will work most times but you can experience buffering or lagging under times with high traffic.

What to do if your getting a low grade? Well the most common thing is that your using an old router, with a low capacity CPU and and old WiFi standard. If you haven't upgraded your network in 2-3 years its time to upgrade !

Other thing you can try is changing the traffic priority settings in your router if it supports standards like QoS or SQM.
